Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

We recently stayed at the Bellasera Resort in Naples for 9 nights with our family, staying in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath suite. Overall, I’d rate our experience a solid 7/10. There were definitely some positives. Our room was very clean, which was something we had noticed in previous reviews before booking. The daily housekeeping ladies were absolutely wonderful — some of the sweetest and friendliest people we encountered during our stay. We also appreciated the bottled water provided each day and the $50 gift card to Claw Bar, the on-site restaurant. The location is excellent. Bellasera is conveniently located downtown and within walking distance of Fifth Avenue, which made getting around very easy. The valet staff were also helpful with rides to the beach. That said, the beach rides became somewhat costly once tips were factored in, and you often had to wait a while for your return pickup. Unfortunately, there were also some significant negatives. The biggest issue for us was the smell in our room. Despite the room appearing very clean, there was a persistent, very musky, almost mildew-like odor throughout our stay. We contacted the front desk about it, and the room was given a deep

We had an exceptional stay at Bellasera Hotel. The location is excellent and makes everything easily accessible. Before we even arrived, David from reception personally called to ask about our ETA, which immediately made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. He also followed up after check-in to ensure everything with the condo was perfect, which was a very thoughtful touch. The condo itself was surprisingly spacious, beautifully maintained, and impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff deserves special recognition for their attention to detail and professionalism. Every area felt pristine and cared for. Bellasera truly sets the standard for what a boutique hotel experience should be. We only wish more boutique hotels operated at this level of hospitality and quality. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely return.
